THE CLASSROOMS AND OTHER EQUIPMENTS USED BY SECONDARY SCHOOLS SOCIAL SCIENCES EDUCATION DEPARTMENTS

 

1) Social Science Technology Class Room (110)

 

This classroom is equipped with basic and also technological teaching materials. The courses of Instructional Technology and Material Design, and Special Teaching Methods, and also other courses are being taught in this classroom for the departments of Geography, History, and Turkish Language and Literature. This classroom is also a laboratory equipped with the materials that are designed mostly for the courses in the field of physical geography. In addition, the courses in the field of human geography are being taught in this classroom. The materials in this classroom are listed below:

2) Professional Meteorology Station (Davis Vantage Pro 2 Meteorology Station)

 

It gauges immediately temperature, atmospheric pressure, relative humidity, wind speed and direction, precipitation, dew-point temperature, apparent temperature. It shows the data on a table on the screen. Besides, weather forecast, eight phases of the month, time and date can be read on the screen.

 

3) Other facilities

 

  1. Wall maps that are necessary for the departments of Geography and History are present in our classrooms.
  2. In case of need, other technology classrooms and computer laboratories in our faculty can also be used, in particular for the courses of Computer I-II, and Geographic Information System I-II.
