Geography Education Graduate Meetings II Meeting was held
On 25.03.2025, Geography Education graduate meetings II meeting was held online. The meeting was attended by our undergraduate and graduate graduates, undergraduate 4-year and graduate students, as well as the lecturers of the Department of Geography Education. The meeting started with the opening speeches of Prof. Dr. Ahmet Evren Erginal, Prof. Dr. Okan Yaşar and Assistant Dean Assistant Professor Yasemin Abalı Öztürk. Cemal Korkut, Principal of Çanakkale Milli Piyango Anatolian High School, one of our graduates, as well as Research Assist. Dr. Zekeriya Konurhan, Assistant Taylan Akarsu, geography teachers Metehan Yurt, Deniz Sağlam, Ahmet Fatih Bilen, Hatice Aydın and our Master's student Çoşkun Cem Soykan. The speakers listed the keys to success in professional life, the problems encountered and the solutions to these problems. In addition, graduate speakers shared their expectations from the University and their opinions on which areas undergraduate students should improve themselves. Research Assist. Dr Zekeriya Konurhan and Assist. Taylan Akarsu explained the importance and necessity of postgraduate education to our 4th year students and undergraduate graduates. The meeting, which lasted about 2,5 hours, ended with the separate evaluations and suggestions of the department lecturers on the subjects.
