Professor Solak: Türkiye and Indonesia are Two Brother Countries

Turkish and Social Sciences Education faculty member Prof. Dr. Ömer Solak gave a conference titled "Primary and Secondary School Education in Turkey and Indonesia" in Indonesia, where he was within the scope of the TUBITAK 2219 project. At the conference at the English Language and Literature Education department of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Solak first talked about the history of Turkish and Indonesian relations. Then, he talked about the history of Turkish and Indonesian relations between the two countries. He gave information about primary and secondary education systems. Finally, he gave comparative information about Turkish and Indonesian mother tongue education processes accompanied by visuals. The conference, given in English, was held with a wide participation from all faculties.
